Confirm Your Email on Telegram
Link your Telegram to your BFT account with the 6-digit code BFT emails you.
A 6-digit code from BFT proves that the BFT account is yours. Once you send it in the BFT Support chat on Telegram, the support team knows which account you're asking about.
Before you start
Use the Telegram account you're chatting with BFT Support from. Make sure you can open the inbox of the email address on your BFT account.
How it works
When you share the email address on your BFT account in the BFT Support chat on Telegram, BFT emails a 6-digit code to that address. Sending the code back in the same chat links your Telegram to that BFT account.
Open the email from BFT with the subject BFT Telegram link code. If you can't find it, check your spam folder.
If something goes wrong:
- The code is wrong: Send the code from the newest email again.
- The code has expired: Send your email address in the chat again to get a new code.
- You see too many attempts: Try again later, or link from Support in your BFT dashboard.
What success looks like
The bot confirms that your Telegram is linked. Your Telegram tickets then also appear under My Tickets in your BFT dashboard, and you don't need to link again for later tickets.
Common mistakes
- Sending the code from a different Telegram account than the one in the chat.
- Sending a code from an older email after a newer one arrived.
- Sending the code after 15 minutes.
- Sharing the code anywhere other than the BFT Support chat on Telegram.
