Evaluation FAQ

Short answers about phases, profit targets, minimum trading days, loss limits, and what happens when you pass.

The program table on this page shows the current rules. If your dashboard shows different values for your account, the dashboard is correct for that account.

How does a BFT evaluation work?

You trade a simulated account and must reach a profit target, record the minimum number of trading days, and stay within every loss limit and trading rule. Yangon Standard and Mandalay have two phases. Yangon Express has one. After the final phase you complete identity verification (KYC) and sign an agreement, and then you receive a simulated funded account.

What is the profit target?

The target is a percentage of the account's initial balance:

  • Yangon Standard: 10% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2.
  • Mandalay: 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2.
  • Yangon Express: 10% in its single phase.

On a $100,000 Yangon Standard account, Phase 1 needs $10,000 profit and Phase 2 needs $5,000. Phase 2 is a new account, so its target uses that account's initial balance, not your Phase 1 ending balance.

How many trading days do I need?

Yangon Standard needs at least 4 trading days in each phase. Yangon Express and Mandalay need at least 7. The dashboard counts trading days for you; calendar days do not count.

Is there a time limit to pass?

No. Evaluations have no deadline, so you can wait for setups that fit your plan. The minimum trading days still apply.

What is the daily loss limit?

The daily loss limit is 5% for Yangon Standard, 4% for Mandalay, and 3% for Yangon Express. It is measured from the day's starting balance, as a percentage of the initial balance. For example, if a $10,000 Yangon Standard account starts the day at $10,200, equity must stay above $9,700. The limit resets at the time shown by the dashboard countdown. See Loss limits.

What is the maximum loss limit?

The maximum loss limit is 10% for Yangon Standard, 8% for Mandalay, and 6% for Yangon Express. It is fixed from the initial balance and does not trail or reset. On a $100,000 Yangon Standard account, equity must stay above $90,000.

Do open trades count toward the loss limits?

Yes. Both limits use equity, which includes the floating profit or loss of open positions. An account can breach while a losing trade is still open, and losses carried past the daily reset count toward the new day.

What should I do when I reach the profit target?

Close every position and pending order. The pass check runs only when the target and minimum trading days are met, no positions are open, and no rule has been broken. A balance above the target with an open trade is not a pass yet.

What happens after I pass?

In a two-step program, Phase 1 is followed by a separate Phase 2 account with new login details. After the final phase, open Verification to complete KYC, then sign the agreement in Contracts. Your simulated funded account is prepared after the signed agreement is verified. Stop trading the completed account while you wait. See After you pass.

Do I get paid for profit made during the evaluation?

No. Evaluation profit is simulated and is used only to judge whether you pass. Performance rewards come only from eligible profit on the simulated funded account.

What happens if I break a loss limit?

The account changes to Breached, the dashboard shows the reason, and that account cannot continue. You can start a new evaluation at any time. If you think the account data is wrong, keep screenshots of the dashboard and your MT5 history and open a support ticket.
